Reaching Lanett and the World for Jesus Christ

 WELCOME...There's a place for YOU!

Thank you for visiting First Baptist Church of Lanett online. The mission of our church is to reach Lanett and the world for Jesus Christ.  We desire to glorify God and extend His kingdom by living and proclaiming His truth in the world. We encourage you to explore the many ministries and resources available to you.

Memory Verse
James 1:9-10 The brother of humble circumstances should boast in his exaltation; but the one who is rich should boast in his humiliation, because he will pass away like a flower of the field.

WMU News
Our WMU project for June is the Life boxes for our military. These boxes contain items such as a personal note to a service member, chewing gum, tube/crew socks, small hard candies, stationery supplies, wet wipes, Christian music CD's, sermons, magazines, devotionals, and more. All WMU circles, Sunday School classes, and children’s groups are encouraged to participate in writing an encouraging note of thanks and prayers, and donating items for the Life Boxes. Please contact Ruthie Dobbs for more info. Also, please check the bulletin board for info regarding the Baptist Global Relief In-Home Care Kit Project.
Coming in July: Donations for School Supplies for the Christian Service Center!

Prayer Pager for Baby Nelson Bradshaw
Nelson Bradshaw, was born 6-weeks ago with some very special medical needs. He is still in Eggleston Hospital in Atlanta, where he has been since birth. A Prayer Pager has been set up for the family. Whenever you say a prayer for Nelson, Laurie and Wesley and the rest of the family, you may dial the following number. The pager will simply buzz to let them know that someone has said a prayer for them. They will not see your name or number, they will just know that someone prayed. The hope is that you will dial this toll-free number often to let the family know that they are in your thoughts and prayers. Dial 1-877-810-1015. After the introductory message, type in 111# and hang up. The page will be forwarded to the family.
